During the month of May 2023, our Surgical Team embarked on a significant mission in Senegal, conducting two remarkable cataract surgical camps. With unwavering dedication, they ventured into two of the most hard-to-reach cities, Tambacounda village and Kafferine, providing cataract surgeries to the people in need of services in the communities.
Over the course of ten days, our team demonstrated remarkable perseverance in the face of challenges posed by distance, accessibility, and weather. Despite these hurdles, they performed an impressive number of successful cataract surgeries, effectively restoring vision and transforming lives.
Through this remarkable success, the team reached unprecedented heights of quality medical and surgical services provided to underserved communities.
